The Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr and founder of Kora Organics, is known for her glowing skin. Here, she shares her morning routine, why she loves her post-baby body, and her evening energy-clearing ritual.

She’s not a morning person…

…but she starts the morning at 5.30am, applying her own Kora brand Noni Facial oil which makes her skin look super fresh each morning. “I wouldn’t be able to live without that morning and night and it is the same with my husband. He uses it more than I do at night too and it completely has changed his skin. I also love dry body brushing first thing because it invigorates me and gets my circulation going.”  Then she meditates. “In the morning my husband wakes up at 5.30 and the kids are still asleep so I do my little half an hour meditation before they wake up and while he is getting ready for work, it is my time in the morning from 5.30am to 6 am.”

Post-meditation, Kerr spritzes on a citrus or rose mist and glides on the Kora Noni Radiant Eye Oil. “It is so quick and easy to put it on. It is not fussy, you just open it up and you just roll it on.” Kerr then applies the latest in her range of Kora products – the Turmeric Brightening and Exfoliating Mask, which is safe to apply while she breastfeeds Hart and makes breakfast for Flynn. “I have been using the mask every second day as an exfoliant because I am obsessed with it. But when I have time to actually leave the mask on, which is two to three times a week, I will do it when I’m multitasking. I can put it on before I breastfeed or put it on while I am making breakfast. I will put my mask on when I am doing those things and then I will jump into the shower to wash it off.”

She keeps her makeup simple…

…and only does a few steps.I start by massaging in Kora Organics’ Hydrating Moisturizer and Noni Radiant Eye Oil with the Rose Quartz Heart Facial Sculptor. I get very puffy in the morning and this just calms my skin down. Then I mix Noni Glow Face Oil with RMS Beauty’s “Un” Cover-up in Shade 22, and use that as my foundation. I love a bit of a glow so I add a cream highlighter – it just adds a bit of magic. Then I curl my lashes and finish with RMS Beauty’s Lip2Cheek in Promise dabbed into cheeks and over my lips as a tint.

She loves her post-baby body…

…”I haven’t felt under pressure to get back into shape as quickly since leaving Victoria’s Secret, because I don’t have to be in my underwear on the runway. After having Flynn [Kerr’s seven-year-old son with actor Orlando Bloom] I had to immediately get back to doing six days a week of intense workouts, but now I do lighter exercise such as Mary Helen Bowers’ ballet DVDs and walking. Sure, I still have a ‘mom bod’, but I’m much gentler with myself now and happy to just spend time with my babies [Kerr also has a seven-month-old son, Hart, with her husband Evan Spiegel].”

Madonna’s facialist taught her a DIY facial…

…Michelle Peck and her daughter Tarin travel with Madonna to do her facials, and she taught her how to use an at-home oxygen facial machine, so she can do it herself. “I also do a facial massage every single day with Kora Organics’ Rose Quartz Heart Facial Sculptor. It’s really good for tightening the skin.” In summer, Kerr recommends putting the crystal in the refrigerator for a cooling effect.

She has a secret hobby…

…”I’m really into photography. In fact, the campaigns for Kora Organics that feature other women were all shot by me and I write all the copy for the website. One thing people probably don’t know about me is that I’m so detail-orientated. I see details that other people wouldn’t pick up on, so I have this real creative side.”

She has crystals all over her house…

…”I’ve always been fascinated by the magic of crystals. They’re in my handbag, on my bedstand, in the house, outside the house, I bathe with them and I drink from crystal-infused water bottles. All the Kora Organics products are filtered through rose quartz so they all have a vibration of love. Outside my house in Malibu, I’ve got a huge tree that’s surrounded by rose quartz clusters and it’s also in the ‘love sector’ of my property in the feng shui bagua (energy map). Not to mention the geodes of amethyst and clear crystals everywhere else!”

She picks her date-night outfits based on shoes and underwear…

…”I’m obsessed with heels and have so many pairs – they’re my little treasures! I usually do a red lip, glowing skin and pulled-back hair, and add highlight to my collarbones and down the shins. My outfit starts with which shoes I want to wear, then the underwear to match, then I finally get dressed.”

If she needs to re-energize…

…”the simplest thing like going outside and breathing in fresh air helps, and putting my feet in the grass to physically ground myself and feeling the sunshine just recalibrates me. I also take a noni juice supplement which contains açai, pomegranate, matcha, rosehip and chlorella – it makes me feel amazing. I’ve been taking it since I was 13 years old, and my son Flynn drinks it every day. It’s not a caffeine kind of boost, but gives you a more refreshed type of energy.”

She does an energy-clearing ritual every night…

…”I spray Kora Organics’ Calming Lavender Mist, light mini tealight candles on my bed stand, then burn a palo santo stick and wave it around the room to clear the energy. My husband thought I was mad at first, but he now appreciates this side of me. My oldest son Flynn loves to do it with me – all of this is second nature to him.”
