In 2015 fashion trends were focused mainly on the ’70s revival with some new styles slowly tapering into the ’90s. This year, season’s trends hold no particular decade as an inspiration. It’s rather a season of contrasts and the best part of it, is that you can mix and match everything you have from last year with relative ease, bringing out your creative imagination.
Less will most definitely be more, with long Nineties dresses à la Kate Moss, lingerie details, pajama cuts, and delicate sheer fabrics.
At the same time, a certain singularity is coming to the fore, with attention-grabbing, light-reflecting textures, shiny silver finishes, a move towards tribal, graphic prints and rainbow stripes. A concentration of styles, from emerging trends to established looks, as we fast forward to Spring 2016.
